Job summary

Luxoft in Malaysia seeks a hands-on software professional to lead end-to-end development and support for Compliance Tech applications. The role involves guiding teams, ensuring quality and scalable solutions, and aligning with bank-driven delivery methodologies.

You will drive incident management, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with vendor teams while seeking automation opportunities and stronger monitoring across domains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development or support, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Experience in system integration/interfacing design and delivery.
• Experience in a Linux environment.
• Proficient in scripting (Unix shell scripting or Bash or PowerShell).
• Strong SQL/database knowledge.
• Development experience in Java.
• DevOps change processes and tools familiarity (Bitbucket, Jenkins), Control-M, Aldon.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain.
• Pro-active in contributing to your teams' technical knowledge and training needs.
• Commitment to quality and ability to raise the bar of products and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software development and support for Compliance Tech domain applications.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions and production support.
• Quality assurance of team delivery to Bank-defined software methodology and tools.
• Plan and manage transitioned deliverables with Compliance Tech leads.
• Solve production issues and reduce PBIs to meet SLAs.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes.
• Incident & Problem management and coordination across teams and vendors.
• Analyze issues before escalating to vendors and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with stakeholders during major incidents and changes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and monitoring improvements.
• Collaborate across application teams to manage dependencies.
