Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology transformation initiatives in a banking-focused environment. The role covers planning, governance, and transition activities across applications, infrastructure and security domains.

The successful candidate will manage schedules, dependencies and risks, coordinating with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in IT project management.
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure, platform, or application transformations.
• Strong planning, scheduling, dependency management and lifecycle control.
• Experience upgrading, migrating, replacing, or decommissioning technology.
• Solid knowledge of hardware, software, OS, databases, middleware and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, milestones, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans.
• Coordinate upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning activities.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory, technical, and business requirements.
• Maintain RAID logs and project documentation; provide status updates.
