Job summary

Lecadia Prima Care Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide daily care and assistance to residents. You will help with bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment.

Experience in caregiving is an advantage. The role requires compassion, good communication, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, healthcare assistant, ward aide, or in a nursing home is an advantage.
• Caring, patient, responsible, and compassionate personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and transferring residents.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance to residents/patients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist residents with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor residents’ general condition and report any changes to the nurse in charge.
• Assist nurses with basic nursing and care duties as instructed.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort of residents’ rooms and surrounding areas.
• Change bed linens and keep residents’ personal belongings organized.
