The role involves assisting during meals, mobility, and personal care, while maintaining infection control standards and a collaborative team approach. Prior healthcare exposure is valuable, and willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• Patient Care Assistant Certification from college is required.
• Previous experience in healthcare is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in basic language.
• Willingness to learn and adapt new skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to Nurse-In-Charge/Staff Nurse for daily nursing care activities and to the Supervisor for cleaning duties.
• Assist in updating resident care plans and function as Team Leader for non-acute zones.
• Participate in clinical quality projects and KPI-related tasks.
• Provide basic resident care: oral hygiene, bathing, personal hygiene, feeding, toileting, mobility, and daily activities.
• Assist with meals, movement, and positioning; monitor vital signs as needed.
• Support with general duties such as answering call bells and accompanying for appointments.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist during night duties if required.
• Adhere to infection control policies and SOPs and perform additional duties as assigned.
