Job summary

Hwa Hin Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced driver to safely transport staff to activities and meetings across Johor Bahru. The role requires vigilance, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of on-road conversations.

Applicants should be medically fit, with a valid driving license and own transport, and able to start immediately. Long hours, weekend and public holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be medically and physically fit with no criminal record.
• Familiar with Johor area and able to navigate using Waze/Google Maps.
• Prefer to stay in Johor Bahru area.
• Able to start work immediately.
• Possess own transport with valid driving license.
• Willing to work long hours, weekends and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company staff to activities, meetings, and events.
• Perform duties honestly, diligently, and professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality of conversations and information encountered during transport.
• Practice safety and health regulations to protect drivers and others on the road.
• Be punctual and reachable during working hours and standby times.
• Maintain vehicle condition: check tires, fluids, and overall readiness before trips.
• Schedule and perform maintenance as needed and monitor road conditions to avoid delays.

Job description

Safely drive company staff to attending activities/occasion/meetings.

Perform all duties assigned honestly, diligently, and professional.

Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information heard during transport assignments.

Should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.

Must be able to be contacted at any time, also present at all places punctually as may be stipulated or directed by the company all the time during working hours and on stand-by time slot as designated.

Perform any other tasks/responsibilities which are assigned by company. Any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Maintain awareness of current road systems and conditions by monitoring news and traffic reports, adjusting routes as necessary to avoid delays.

Able to endure long hours driving, being able to fix minor things on the vehicle like changing tires, check tire pressure and the most important things is to ensure the vehicle always in a good condition before the task begin.

Ensure vehicle is in good clean working order and suitable for the task.

Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs and keep track of general maintenance schedules.

Requirements

Prefer to stay in Johor Bahru area.

Medically and physically fit with no criminal record.

Familiar with Johor area and able to navigate and use necessary tech application (Waze, Google maps etc)

Able to start work immediately is an added advantage.

Possess own transport with valid driving license.

Non-alcoholism

Must be willing to work long hours, and when required, on weekends and Public Holiday.
