Job summary

EBC Financial Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a social media and community specialist to manage daily interactions across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Telegram, and Discord.

You will respond to inquiries, build relationships with online communities, identify leads, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to grow engagement and brand loyalty in a fast-paced fintech setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in social media operations, community management, customer support, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience managing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Telegram, Discord, or similar social channels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse online communities.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and business opportunities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in fintech, online trading, CFD, forex, cryptocurrency, or financial services is an added advantage.

• Support KOL and influencer campaigns by engaging with audiences and driving community participation.
• Ensure timely follow-up on customer requests while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user engagement and community growth initiatives.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
