Job summary

Elite Project Management Consultancy is seeking an experienced data centre commissioning lead to drive end-to-end delivery on a major Asia-focused campus project. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and controls commissioning with direct client-facing leadership on-site in Johor Bahru.

The role requires a strong engineering background and a track record of coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, with relocation support available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of data centre commissioning and delivery experience.
• Open to candidates from PMCs, client teams, main contractors, or Tier-1 subs.
• Strong engineering degree accepted in lieu of long experience.
• Excellent daily communication and client-facing leadership are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct commissioning for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Review M&E design docs for new and retrofit builds.
• Draft test procedures aligning with Uptime and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Manage multi-discipline consultant and Tier-1 sub teams on site.
• Enforce strict safety and quality standards across all packages.
• Drive full load integrated testing and smooth operational handover.
