Job summary

BANYANO ASIA SDN BHD invites a skilled commissioning engineer to lead data center test and startup activities in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The role requires strong background in electrical, HVAC, and related fields, plus 3+ years in data center projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, with relaxation for outstanding candidates.
• Background in electrical, HVAC and related mechanical/electrical fields.
• 3+ years of industry experience including data center work; commissioning preferred.
• Familiar with commissioning processes and data center systems (electrical, HVAC, LV, fire protection).
• Understanding delivery standards and technical architecture of data centers.
• Strong communication, responsible, able to work in a team and make independent judgments.
• Review commissioning plans, schemes and reports.
• Project management experience; PMP preferred.
• Willingness to undertake long-term business trips.

Job description

2. A professional background in electrical (both high and low voltage), HVAC, and other related mechanical and electrical fields

3. Have 3+ years of industry experience, including data center work experience (those with commissioning experience are preferred). Familiar with commissioning processes and data center systems (electrical, HVAC, low voltage, fire protection etc.)

4. Familiar with the progress, cost, quality, safety and other aspects of commissioning projects

5. Understand the delivery standards of data center infrastructure and commissioning processes

6. Understand the technical architecture and characteristics of data centers

7. Have good communication skills, take work seriously and responsibly, have the ability to make independent judgments, actively learn and work well in a team

8. Be able to review commissioning plans, schemes, and reports

9. Have project management experience and ability. Those with a PMP certificate are preferred

10. Be able to handle pressure and be willing to undertake long‑term business trips
