Job summary

Oriental Coffee International Sdn Bhd (Retail) seeks a kitchen worker to master basic cooking methods and prepare ingredients according to the station's menu/SOP daily. You will ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and food safety adherence in a fast-paced kitchen.

Requirements include SPM or Diploma, at least 1 year in F&B, teamwork, and ability to follow directions from the Head Chef. Weekend and shift work are expected; incentives and perks apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess SPM or Diploma in related field.
• At least 1 year experience in F&B industry.
• Good team player able to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Able to follow directions from the Head chef and be consistent with the food preparation.
• Adaptability and ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Master basic cooking methods and cutting ingredients.
• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking daily.
• Properly store food in preparation and storage areas.
• Improve food preparation methods based on feedback.
• Clean kitchen area, crockery and equipment.
• Maintain food safety standards and observe safety precautions when handling equipment.
• Perform duties assigned by Head Chef & Chef De Partie.
• Work in a team.
