Job summary

Airswift is seeking a senior commercial professional in Kuala Lumpur with extensive upstream oil & gas experience. You will negotiate, draft and manage PSCs, JOAs and sales agreements, while coordinating with multiple departments to optimize commercial outcomes.

You will lead negotiations, support scenario analyses, and safeguard PTTEP’s interests in key deals, liaising with JV Partners and industry groups. Strong knowledge of Malaysian upstream O&G required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in upstream oil & gas
• Experience with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements and Sales Agreements
• Demonstrated track record in commercial negotiations and economics
• Involvement in major oil and gas projects
• Proven ability to negotiate oil and gas contracts
• Familiarity with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry

Responsibilities

• Support the Head, Commercial & Economics in negotiation and drafting contracts
• Liaise between KL office departments on commercial projects
• Oversee and strengthen Company’s commercial relationships with Joint Venture Partners (JVPs)
• Consider the commercial impact of business decisions on PSCs, JOAs, and other key agreements
• Ensure PTTEP’s interests are protected in commercial negotiations
• Lead and coordinate in commercial negotiations
• Prepare and support with commercial proposals and scenario analyses
• Review commercial implications of business decisions
• Represent the Company at industry and trade groups
• Assist the Head, Commercial and Economics with reporting

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Support the Head, Commercial & Economics in negotiation and drafting contracts


• Work as a liaison between the various departments in the KL office on commercial projects


• Oversee, enable, develop, and strengthen Company’s commercial relationships with Joint Venture Partners (JVPs)


• Consider the commercial impact of business decisions with regards to the Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and other key commercial agreements
