Job summary

Pilot Construction seeks a delivery driver to manage loading/unloading, transport goods to sites and distribution centers, and ensure on-time, safe deliveries. You will follow company SOPs, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and log travel details.

Ideal candidates hold a valid B2/D license, have at least 3 years of relevant driving experience, and are willing to work flexible hours across Klang Valley and outstations. Ownership of a motorbike is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driving license for Class B2 and D.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Well organized, able to plan routes and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and offloading at distribution centers, job sites, or as directed by Supervisor.
• Ensure goods delivered in good condition and according to delivery notes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks and minor maintenance.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company SOPs at all times.
• Maintain travel logs and complete daily delivery schedules.

1. Oversee and assist in loading and offloading of goods to and from distribution centers, job sites or any specific location stated by the Supervisor.

2. Ensure goods are delivered in good condition, without incurring any damage in transit, considering any special delivery instructions on delivery orders.

3. Arrange goods and materials in Company’s warehouses and safeguard all shipments are stacked properly.

4. Observe and comply all traffic laws, rules and regulations. You will be held responsible for all acts, omission and non-compliance of rules and regulations for the vehicle driven by you for the Company.

5. Always comply with the instructions/directions that will be given by the Supervisor at all times.

6. Complete daily delivery schedules in a timely manner without delay.

7. Ensure that the Company lorry/vehicles are clean at all times by doing minor cleaning both inside and outside and washing periodically.

8. Perform all duties assigned honestly, diligently and professionally, as well as keeping all Company related information strictly confidential at all times.

9. Find and drive through the shortest route during an emergency or to avoid heavy traffic.

10. Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times.

11. Work beyond official working hours and travel to outstations when necessary.

12. Not to leave the premises of the place of duty; not to take the vehicle anywhere unless so permitted by the Management; not to allow any unauthorized person to travel in the vehicle.

13. Carry out routine inspection on the commercial truck/vehicles to ensure that they are always in good condition, such as checking the oil and batteries, refueling the vehicles and sending to workshop for general servicing.

14. Identify electrical and mechanical problems that may hinder smooth working of the vehicles and carry out minor repairs and maintenance and report to the Supervisor for the vehicles to be taken to the workshop for repair when necessary.

15. Keep receipts for vehicle repairs and maintenance and other records and reports for the lorry/vehicles.

16. Keep a travel log to record locations travelled to, travel time, and work hours.

17. Be in possession of your valid driving license at all times during working hours.

Job Requirements

• Min. SPM/STPM
• Min. 3 years of relevant working experience
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Good attitude and communication skill.
• Well organized; punctual; good attendance and responsible
• Ability to work well under limited supervision.
• Possess valid driving license for Class B2 and D, good driving skill with clean/ excellent driving records.
• To work flexible hours, and during Rest Day & Public Holiday.
• To work within Klang Valley and Outstation.
• Must have own motor bike
