Job summary

Singtel KL is expanding its Shared Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur and seeks a Commercial Executive to support pricing and commercial activities across mobile, roaming, mobility solutions and IoT for Enterprise customers.

You will collaborate with Sales and key stakeholders to develop competitive propositions, analyse pricing trends and prepare business cases for management approval.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Studies, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline.
• More than 3 years of experience in IT, telecommunications industry.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with strong numerical and analytical capability.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to manage stakeholder and Sales expectations.
• Comfortable presenting business cases to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales to understand customers' requirements and formulate strategies, pricing analysis and value propositions.
• Ensure proposed pricing aligns with pricing strategy and target margins.
• Provide customer discounts within pricing empowerment framework and obtain higher approvals as needed.
• Coordinate and present findings to obtain executive management approval for customer submissions.
• Prepare clear business cases for approval via email or Teams discussions.
• Balance customer target pricing with internal pricing guidelines.
• Prepare management reports and pricing trend analyses using internal systems.
• Use MS Excel to analyze data and estimate customer usage.
• Support approximately 20 pricing requests per month for Enterprise.

We are looking for a Commercial Executive to support pricing and commercial activities for mobile & roaming, mobility solutions and IoT services for Enterprise customers, partnering with Sales and key stakeholders to develop competitive customer propositions.

Make an Impact by:

• Work closely with Sales to understand customers' requirements, business environment and related complexity, and formulate winning strategies, pricing analysis and value propositions in a timely manner.
• Ensure proposed pricing is aligned with the overall pricing strategy and business target margins.
• Provide customer discounts in accordance with the pricing empowerment framework and refer matters requiring higher approval as appropriate.

2. Business Case & Management Approval

• Coordinate and present findings and recommendations to obtain executive management approval for customer submissions.
• Prepare clear and well-supported business cases for approval via email or Teams discussions.
• Balance customer target pricing with commercial requirements and internal pricing guidelines.

3. Pricing Analysis & Reporting

• Utilize internal systems to prepare management reports and conduct pricing trend and benchmarking analysis.
• Use MS Excel to analyze commercial data and develop sound assumptions on customer usage.
• Support approximately 20 pricing requests per month across the Enterprise segment.

4. Stakeholder Management & Commercial Optimization

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Product and vendors, to achieve a competitive cost structure and end-to-end pricing.
• Engage stakeholders assertively and meticulously to resolve commercial and pricing matters.
• Conduct joint customer visits with Mobile Product Specialists when required.

5. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support

• Support automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance turnaround time and win rate.
• Take on additional cross-functional support duties when required.

Skills for Success
