Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to support production and maintenance teams with installing, modifying, fabricating, and improving coffee-related machinery. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other equipment.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, calibrate components, and ensure spare parts are stocked for efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting the Production and Maintenance teams in machine installation, modification, fabrication, and improvement.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair coffee machines, espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other related equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including calibration and replacement of faulty components.
• Ensure essential spare parts, tools, and equipment are properly stocked and readily available when required.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, machine specifications, and relevant technical documentation to support maintenance and repair work.
• Provide technical support and professional assistance to customers regarding machine operation, maintenance, repair status, and service schedules.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to provide updates on machine conditions, repair progress, and maintenance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for machine improvement and recommend practical solutions to enhance machine performance and reliability.
