UIS Technologies Sdn Bhd in Penang invites an experienced CNC Engineering Lead to drive manufacturing excellence in a growing precision engineering environment. You will oversee CNC operations, lead engineers and technicians, and coordinate with planning, QA and maintenance to meet production targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/ manufacturing/ precision engineering, 10+ years of experience (5+ years CNC hands-on and 5+ years in management), and strong leadership with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in CNC hands-on and 5 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, machine setup, tooling and troubleshooting.
• Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Familiar with OEE, Lean Manufacturing, 5S and quality management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily CNC Department operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Coordinate with planner to plan engineering manpower and machine setup activities to meet production schedule.
• Monitor KPIs, including OEE, productivity, downtime, scrap and machine utilisation.
• Lead and manage a group of engineering team including team leaders, technical specialists and technicians.
• Ensure proper machine conversion, tooling, work instructions and maintenance are in place.
• Coordinate within Engineering, QA, Planning and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
• Drive improvement activities to meet productivity, quality, delivery, cycle time and production costs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 5S, safety and develop Engineering personnels with required technical skills.

Competitive salary package of RM10,000 – RM15,000 per month.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or related field / relevant experience without academic qualification will be considered

Minimum 10 years of experience: at least 5 years of CNC hands‑on experience and 5 years in a management role.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, machine setup, tooling and troubleshooting.

Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.

Familiar with OEE, Lean Manufacturing, 5S and quality management.

Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
