Job summary

C-Hawk Technology in Malaysia seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to develop multi-axis programs for milling and turning. You will use CAD/CAM tools, interpret complex blueprints, and coordinate with Sales and production to ensure on-time part delivery.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of CNC programming experience, with proficiency in Mastercam 2019. A hands-on, detail-oriented professional is essential for successful tooling and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Diploma in mechanical or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant CNC programming experience.
• Experience with CNC machines and setting up programs.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient in Mastercam 2019 or equivalent CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills/turns and multi-axis setups with guidance from supervisor.
• Review blueprints to ensure complete manufacturing information.
• Plan processes from start to finish using all production departments.
• Quote manufacturing times for Sales.
• Create prints from CAD models for Sales and manufacturing.
• Review and approve job traveler sequences.
• Provide setup sheet instructions for machining.
• Submit changes to Sales for adjustments.
• Prepare purchase requests for special tools.
• Log data into Epicor after training.
• Update job sheet information.
• Generate part geometry and prints; produce reports.
• Perform duties as assigned by Program Manager.

Job description

To provide CNC Mill /Turn Programming / Multi axis program with min guide & supervision

Review and validating that the blue prints are legitimate and contains all required information to successfully manufacture the part.

Process planning for manufacturing parts from start to finish, utilizing all production departments.

Quoting manufacturing times for Sales

Create prints from CAD models for Sales and manufacturing use.

Review and approving job traveler sequence of operations.

Provide accurate information and clear instructions on setup sheets for machining

Indicate changes/additional information on job procedures, run time, and submit to the Sales Personnel for adjustments Technical assistance
to Sales Personnel. (quoting, procedure, feasibility)

Prepare ,Submit purchase request for special tools when needed

Following in-house training, expected to logon and input required vital information into network system (Epicor)

Update job sheet information. (Procedure, blank size, machine allocation & ETC.)

End of project review. (finalize program and run time documentation)

Generate accurate part geometry and prints

Provide report & perform other duties as assigned by Program Manager

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess Min Diploma in mechanical or equivalent.

Minimum 5 Year(s) and above of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Experience with CNC programming, machine tools and setting and able to identify risk for each project

Able to perform & do 3D CAD design ,Print when needed.

Fully understand the program software and CNC machines

Ability to read and follow blueprints and general understanding of tolerance and GD&T .

Able to use Mastercam 2019 or others convenience software

Must able to manage any related task & complete task within expected time.
