Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Machinist in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC operation and G-code programming.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Skilled with precision measuring tools (micrometres, calipers, gauges).
• Understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling and materials.
• Mechanical aptitude with maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Detail-focused with ability to meet tight tolerances.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Safety-conscious and able to work independently or in a team.
• Vocational CNC qualifications or certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes and machining centres to produce components per drawings.
• Set up machines with tools, fixtures and parameters for production.
• Monitor tolerances and product quality to meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines.
• Inspect components using precision instruments for accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain records of production runs and machine performance.
