Job summary

Pristine Glory Sdn. Bhd. seeks a skilled CNC Lathe Engineer to join our Perak facility on a full-time basis.

You will design, program, operate and optimise CNC lathe machinery to ensure precision, efficiency and quality across our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include developing machine code, setting up equipment, monitoring performance, conducting maintenance and ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
• 3+ years of experience with CNC lathe machinery in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in CNC programming languages and CAM software.
• In-depth knowledge of precision engineering, tolerances, materials and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with analytical skills.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment calibration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and programme CNC lathe operations, developing machine code and optimise cutting parameters.
• Set up, calibrate and operate CNC lathe machinery to produce precision components per drawings.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues and adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise downtime.
• Quality assurance and inspection of finished components per specs and standards.
• Collaborate with production, design and planning teams to optimise processes.
• Document procedures, settings and data to support continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and cost reduction.
• Provide technical guidance and support to machine operators.
