Job summary

Confidential in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, secure cloud solutions leveraging Alibaba Cloud and AI tech. You will translate business needs into end-to-end architectures, lead POCs, and collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver integrated cloud and AI solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years in cloud/solution architecture, hands-on Alibaba Cloud experience, strong communication, and a track record in manufacturing or Industry 4.0 contexts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Consulting or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud; Tencent Cloud experience welcomed.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, system integration, APIs and enterprise solutions.
• Experience in AI/GenAI, LLM or data solutions is an advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in manufacturing / Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into end-to-end solution architecture, technical designs and implementation plans.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, with a strong focus on Alibaba Cloud and other public cloud platforms.
• Lead technical discussions, solution workshops and PoC initiatives.
• Design and implement AI/GenAI solutions using cloud technologies to support business and manufacturing transformation.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities across LLM, AI, Machine Learning, IoT and Smart Manufacturing.
• Work with IT, business teams and technology partners to integrate cloud and AI solutions into existing systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external technology partners to deliver projects.
• Present solution proposals, recommendations and project updates to management.
