Job summary

Alibaba Cloud Architect in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks an expert to design and govern secure, scalable Alicloud environments. You will drive IaC, automation, and CI/CD adoption across enterprise workloads, partnering with DevOps, security, and application teams.

You’ll lead security-by-design, IAM governance, and resilient infrastructure while mentoring teams and delivering standardization across platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years of cloud architecture experience.
Proven design and deployment of Alicloud or equivalent architectures.
Strong Terraform experience, including modules.
Strong Ansible experience (playbooks/roles).
Hands-on with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
Solid networking, security, IAM, and automation understanding.
Experience in enterprise or regulated environments desirable.
Understanding IT partner ecosystems and multinational collaboration.
Experience in a top-tier multinational company is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end Alibaba Cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.
Define standards and best practices aligned with governance and security.
Lead architecture for new workloads, migrations, and modernization on Alicloud.
Ensure security, network, identity, and regulatory compliance.
Hands-on config/management of core Alicloud services: ECS, VPC, SLB, NAT Gateway; OSS, NAS; RAM, KMS, Security Center; RDS, PolarDB.
Design secure network architectures with private networking, routing, and access controls.
Implement platform-level resilience, backup, and disaster recovery.
