Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan XGiants Consulting Sdn Bhd is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect in Kuala Lumpur to design scalable, secure cloud architectures and guide clients through digital transformations. You will work with multiple cloud platforms and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to craft cost-efficient solutions.

You will translate business needs into technical blueprints, engage with clients during pre-sales, and help drive successful deployments while maintaining clear documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of cloud solution architecture and related experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Alibaba Cloud required.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage and security.
• Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting or client-facing roles preferred.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure certifications are a plus.

Job description

Join us as a Cloud Solution Architect and help businesses design scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions. Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, develop cloud architecture recommendations and support digital transformation initiatives. Gain exposure to multiple leading cloud platforms through close collaboration with seven cloud partners, expanding your expertise beyond one cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customer business and technical requirements and translate them into suitable cloud architecture solutions.

Design scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS, Alibaba Cloud or other relevant cloud platforms.

Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges, present technical solutions and provide consultative recommendations.

Support pre-sales activities, including technical discussions, solution presentations and customer requirements gathering.

Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate with Sales, Business Development and technical teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.

Advise customers throughout the solution lifecycle, from initial discovery and architecture design to deployment, operations and optimization.

Maintain technical documentation and ensure solution recommendations align with business objectives.

Keep up to date with cloud technologies and contribute ideas to enhance the company's cloud offerings.

Support technical operations and account management activities when required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in cloud solution architecture, cloud infrastructure design, pre-sales engineering or technical consulting.

Hands-on experience with AWS or Alibaba Cloud is required.

Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage and security.

Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting or customer-facing technical roles is highly preferred.

Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English Languages to support regional clients.

AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Azure or other relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.

Maximum notice period of two months.

Pure software development, backend support or internal IT support experience without hands-on cloud architecture and client-facing solution design experience may not be suitable for this role.
