Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud Leader to blend hands-on cloud architecture, DevOps, IT risk, and cloud security. You will guide migrations across public and hybrid platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, OCI) and shape governance around security controls.

You will manage cross-functional teams, employ Agile, Scrum or Waterfall, and maintain senior client relationships while delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or a technical discipline.
• 4+ years in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, risk/security management, or tech consulting.
• Proven AWS/Azure migration & architecture experience with enterprise networking and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration and architecture across public and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, OCI).
• Design and implement cloud security governance and controls.
• Deliver DevOps/DevSecOps practices and automated operations.
• Manage projects and client relationships using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

About Role

• Hybrid Leadership: Role blends hands-on cloud architecture, DevOps, IT risk, cloud security, and project management.
• Migration & Architecture: Assesses, designs, and implements infrastructure solutions across public (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, OCI) and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Security & Governance: Conducts cloud risk assessments, designs governance frameworks, and installs security controls across platforms like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and OCI Cloud Guard.
• DevOps Delivery: Implements continuous delivery practices, DevSecOps principles, and automated operational procedures.
• Project & Client Management: Leads cross-functional engagement teams using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks while maintaining senior client relationships.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical discipline.
• Experience Level: Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in IT operations, cloud infrastructure, risk/security management, or tech consulting.
• Cloud & Security Expertise: Proven track record in AWS/Azure migration and architecture, coupled with solid enterprise networking, IAM, and cloud security knowledge.
• DevOps & OS Knowledge: Practical experience with DevOps workflows, virtualized environments (VMware), and strong Linux or Wintel administration skills.
• Delivery Frameworks: Proven hands-on capability managing technical delivery using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies alongside client-facing skills.
