Job summary

You will lead requirement gathering for app onboarding, assess architectures, and guide cloud adoption with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience, 5+ years hands-on Cloud Platform/Cloud Engineer work.
• 5+ years automation experience (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong DevOps tooling experience (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, CodeStar).
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or OCI Architect or Cloud Security certs.
• 3–5 years in high-demand, fast-paced environments.
• Strong expertise in scalability, security, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent collaboration and documentation skills.

Multi-Cloud Platform Engineer

As a Multi-Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and operating resilient cloud environments while partnering closely with Security, Networking, and Application Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multi-Cloud Operations


• Manage and optimize core services across AWS Control Tower Landing Zone (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and OCI Landing Zone (Compute, Block Storage, Autonomous Database, Functions).


• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance across hybrid environments.


• Application Cloud Onboarding & Architecture Advisory


• Lead requirement gathering and technical discovery for applications onboarding to AWS and OCI.


• Assess application architectures, dependency models, security requirements, and non-functional requirements (availability, performance, compliance).


• Partner closely with application teams to guide cloud adoption strategies aligned to business and technical objectives.


• Provide in-depth architectural guidance to application teams, recommending native cloud services and patterns (e.g., managed databases, serverless, event-driven architectures).


• Influence application design decisions to improve scalability, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency using cloud-native capabilities.


• Review and validate cloud solution designs prior to deployment.


• Infrastructure & Automation


• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and OCI Resource Manager.


• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeStar, CodePipeline, OCI DevOps and On-Premises Bitbucket, Bamboo.


• Automate provisioning, deployment, and environment standardization.


• Drive cost optimization initiatives through right-sizing, capacity planning, and performance tuning.


• Continuously improving platform efficiency and operational maturity.


• Collaborate with Security and Application teams to design well-architected, secure cloud solutions.


• Implement and maintain governance frameworks such as AWS Control Tower and OCI Landing Zones.


• Document architectures, operational procedures, and post-incident root cause analyses.


• Security & Compliance


• Enforce cloud security best practices and guardrails across all environments.


• Monitor logs, alerts, and audit trails to ensure compliance and operational transparency.

We are looking for people with

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.


• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in IT, with at least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer or Cloud Engineer, specifically managing AWS Control Tower Landing Zone (CTLZ) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Landing Zone.


• At least 5 years of experience in automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform and CloudFormation.


• Solid understanding of DevOps pipelines and automation tools such as Bamboo, Ansible, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and CodeStar.


• Possession of one or more of the following certifications:


• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or higher


• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect or higher


• Cloud Security certifications such as AWS Certified Security or equivalent


• 3–5 years of experience in working in a high-demand, fast-paced environments.


• Strong expertise in platform reliability principles, including scalability, performance optimization, and enterprise platform architecture.


• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across various stakeholder groups at organizational level.


• Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure and networking issues.


• Extensive experience in CI/CD environments, with a deep understanding of change and version control processes.


• Passion for continuous learning and evaluating emerging technologies, with a commitment to knowledge sharing within the team.


• Ability to document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to internal knowledge bases.


• Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and domain experts in designing and operating enterprise-wide solutions.


• Self‑motivated, disciplined, and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.


• High level of integrity and takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork. Atc least 5 years of experience in automation using tools like Ansible and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.


• 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining Helm charts and Helm repositories.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing NSX‑T solutions and integrating them with Tanzu suite products.


• Possession of one or more of the following certifications:

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
