Great Eastern is seeking an Intern for GELM Operations-Policy Servicing Administration in Kuala Lumpur. The role supports New Product/Campaign and Project/Enhancement units, coordinating with IT and process owners to address enhancement requests and readiness for new product launches.

Staff member of New Product/Campaign and Project/Enhancement unit. Act as the liaison between IT, System Support team, project team, respective process owners, and other departments’ stakeholders. To provide consultation support, to address enhancement request, and ensure readiness on new product launches and system enhancements.
Coordinate with business users to support new products developments and collect product feedback to ensure needs/features are represented and prioritized within New Products Team and IT which covers product engine.
Work closely with Product Marketing and IT team in providing analysis of new products and providing system enhancements requirements to support current system gaps and new product features
Attend system enhancement for new projects, major releases RSA, campaigns and system change resulted from regulatory guideline.
Coordinate and work closely with SMEs, stakeholders to gather business requirements Work with business user by analysing current system issues and provide guidance for work around.
To assist in preparation of test plan, test cases, and test scenarios and walkthrough with process owners.
Planning for the activities and milestone of the enhancement and/or defects reported on the system.
Execute User Acceptance Test (UAT) for system enhancement based on the enhancement scopes of the new products/campaign/project/enhancement within timeline.
Work closely with IT and track the status & timeline for all activities including system development, enhancement, UAT, deployment and Go-Live activities.
Assess the impact and provide the workaround on production enquiries/defect/data patching/data extraction.
To assist in any other ad hoc tasks assigned by superior.
1. Qualification Possess either Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administrative or any related field(s) or Diploma with more than 5 years’ experience in supervisor roles. Certification in Project Managements would be added advantage.
2. Working experience Minimum 2 years of working experience with working experience in insurance-related fields would be added advantage.
