Job summary

SotaTek Malaysia is hiring an IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage cloud infrastructure, IAM, VPCs, backups, and DR testing. You will provision virtual machines, configure servers, and ensure security across the environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT/CS.
• Experience administering server infrastructure and cloud storage.
• Knowledge IAM/RBAC and VPC/network security fundamentals.
• Experience with backup, recovery and DR testing.
• Willingness to work on rotation/standby beyond hours.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.
• Preferred certifications: AWS SysOps or Azure Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Perform compute and hosting setup, including provisioning of virtual machines.
• Carry out service installation and configuration for infrastructure, servers, and OS components.
• Administer IAM and RBAC for cloud resources.
• Configure and maintain VPC environments and network security settings.
• Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Set up and maintain common shared services across the cloud environment.
• Participate in rotation/standby schedule to provide extended coverage beyond standard hours.
