Job summary

SotaTek Malaysia is hiring a Network Engineer to plan, deploy, operate, and maintain multi-cloud network infrastructure throughout the environment. You will validate and troubleshoot on-premises-to-cloud connectivity to ensure reliable, secure links, and optimize resources for performance and cost.

Strong documentation and backup management are essential. Experience with DR planning, network security controls, and familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking or related field.
• Proven experience with multi-cloud or hybrid network infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of network security, connectivity validation, and performance optimization.
• Experience with network backup, DR planning, and compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, operate, and maintain multi-cloud network infrastructure across the environment.
• Validate and troubleshoot on-premises-to-cloud connectivity to ensure reliable, secure links.
• Optimize network resources for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Manage network backup processes to support recovery of network configurations.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and exercises for network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain network security controls in line with compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration records.
