Job summary

VAT Group seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for its Batu Kawan, Malaysia team. You will join a global team to manage cloud infra, implement enhancements, and ensure secure, scalable deployments using Azure, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

You will design and migrate cloud components, automate provisioning, monitor performance, and collaborate with software teams to streamline delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Azure cloud services experience including VMs, storage, networking, databases, and app services.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or ARM.
• Experience scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash) for automation.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Networking concepts: VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS.
• Security best practices for cloud environments.
• DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global team to manage cloud infra and implement enhancements on IT cloud systems.
• Architect cloud-based solutions based on business requirements and constraints.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure components (VMs, storage, networking, security).
• Automate provisioning and management of infrastructure.
• Plan and oversee cloud migrations and optimization for cost and performance.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms for faster deployment.
• Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide user support.
• Work with development teams to streamline software delivery.
