Job summary

VAT Group AG in Malaysia (Penang) invites a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a global IT team. You will architect cloud solutions, manage Azure services, and drive automation with IaC to support scalable, secure deployments.

Responsibilities include designing cloud infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring performance and cost, and collaborating with development teams to streamline software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud services (VMs, storage, networking, DBs, app services).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform/ARM).
• Experience with scripting for automation (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, load balancers, DNS).
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with global team to manage cloud infra and implement enhancements.
• Architect cloud-based solutions based on business requirements and constraints.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure components (VMs, storage, networking, security).
• Automate provisioning and management of infrastructure.
• Develop migration strategies and oversee the migration process.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery.
• Provide technical support to users and teams.
