Job summary

AEON Bank is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to own design, development, and maintenance of a robust cloud platform supporting digital banking operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders as the SME for cloud services across the bank.

The role requires modern cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), Linux and container tech, Terraform, and strong security awareness, in a fast-paced environment. Kuala Lumpur-based, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 2+ years of cloud DevOps experience.
• 4+ years of senior cloud DevOps experience.
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Linux and Jenkins experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• IaC using Terraform and familiarity with Ansible/Puppet/Chef.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Github Actions, Gitlab CI.
• Cloud security concepts including SSL, VPN, and encryption.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Networking security familiarity.
• Cloud monitoring tools: NewRelic, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
• Entrepreneurial mindset for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to DevOps best practices across the Engineering function.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud architecture.
• Document cloud architecture and services thoroughly.
• Assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Automate provisioning, upgrades, and decommissioning of infrastructure.
• Automate deployment and testing workflows for applications.
• Collaborate with IT security on cybersecurity health.
• Evaluate cloud apps and services for functional and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot incidents, root cause analysis, and preventive measures.
