Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement and operate a secure, scalable Azure-based environment powering financial services applications across ANZ. You will develop CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation to enable rapid deployments while maintaining compliance and reliability.

Reporting to the Cloud Platform Manager, you will collaborate with global teams, optimize costs, ensure security controls, and maintain clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of experience working in Microsoft Azure.
• Azure certifications from the list of approved Microsoft/CCNA.
• Desirable: experience with Checkpoint firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC) to refine deployments.
• Develop and support cloud solutions, pipelines, VMs, and PaaS.
• Assess security vulnerabilities and ensure security standards.
• Manage cloud networking: NSGs, VNets, subnets, firewalls.
• Collaborate to drive consistency, reliability and improvements.
• Monitor and optimize cloud usage and costs through right-sizing.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
• Ensure availability, performance and SLAs of cloud platforms.
