Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide clinical and technical support for its products across Malaysia. The role partners with Sales and Clinical teams to deliver training, conduct education programs, and support patient care in diverse hospital settings.

You will travel to hospitals and customer sites to deliver on-site expertise, support therapy adoption, and contribute to growth in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Experience providing clinical support, healthcare training, or customer education in a clinical setting.
• Ability to travel frequently to hospitals and customer sites in Malaysia.
• Strong communication skills with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support for Medtronic products and therapies within assigned customer accounts.
• Conduct customer education programs, product training sessions, and clinical consultations for healthcare professionals.
• Support customer cases and procedural activities by delivering on-site clinical expertise and product guidance.
• Partner with Sales colleagues to develop and execute territory plans that support business objectives and therapy adoption.
• Collaborate with Clinical Leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute growth opportunities within the territory.
• Participate in professional conferences, conventions, forums, and customer meetings to increase product awareness and engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, clinicians, hospital stakeholders, and internal partners.
• Share customer insights and clinical feedback to support continuous improvement of products, processes, and customer experience.

A Day in the Life

This role supports Medtronic's clinical and customer engagement activities by providing product expertise, clinical education, and case support for customers across Malaysia. The Clinical Specialist partners closely with Sales, Clinical Support, and cross-functional teams to help optimize therapy adoption, support customer training initiatives, and deliver technical expertise in clinical settings.

This is a full-time position based in Malaysia. The role requires frequent travel to hospitals and customer sites to provide case coverage, product support, clinical education, and stakeholder engagement throughout the assigned territory.

The Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical and technical resource for customers and internal partners, supporting the safe and effective use of Medtronic products and solutions. This position collaborates with Sales and Clinical teams to deliver customer training, procedural support, and clinical expertise that contribute to therapy adoption and business growth.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 6+ years, Associate Diploma and 4+ years, or Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant clinical, healthcare, medical device, or customer-facing healthcare experience.
• Experience providing clinical support, technical product support, healthcare training, or customer education in a clinical environment.
• Ability to travel frequently to hospitals and customer sites throughout Malaysia.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple customer and business priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting medical devices, medical technology, or healthcare solutions in a customer-facing role.
• Experience providing procedural, operating room, catheterization laboratory, or case support within healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of hospital workflows, clinical practices, and healthcare customer environments.
• Experience collaborating with commercial teams to support therapy adoption, customer engagement, and business growth initiatives.
• Ability to deliver effective clinical presentations, educational programs, and product training sessions.
