We are seeking a Clinical Executive to join our team at Walk Again Rehab in Kuala Lumpur. As Clinical Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing best practices across our clinical functions. Key responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
- Managing and coordinating clinical research activities, including patient recruitment, enrolment and monitoring
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines and relevant legislation governing clinical and medical research
- Developing and implementing clinical governance frameworks and quality assurance processes
- Leading clinical teams and providing supervision, mentorship and support to clinical staff members
- Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective delivery of clinical programmes
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring data integrity across all research activities
- Monitoring and reporting on clinical performance metrics and key performance indicators
- Contributing to the development of strategic clinical initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
- Supporting the preparation and submission of regulatory documentation and audit-related activities
What we're looking for
- A professional healthcare qualification or relevant clinical background, such as nursing, medicine or allied health
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working within clinical or medical research environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trial protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, patient safety standards and ethical considerations in clinical research
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop clinical teams effectively
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clinicians, researchers and external regulatory bodies
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and documentation
- Proficiency in using clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture tools
- Knowledge of Malaysian healthcare regulations and medical research governance would be advantageous
