Job summary
United Lifecare Sdn Bhd is seeking motivated Clinical Engineers to join our team in Kuala Lumpur and Penang. You will work with surgeons and operating theatre teams, providing clinical and technical support for Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery using advanced medical technologies.
The role combines engineering with hands-on clinical experience in the healthcare sector, with opportunities to travel to hospitals and work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities are needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate medical devices and provide clinical and technical support during surgical procedures.
- Monitor neurophysiological functions and assess spinal cord integrity during surgery.
- Identify and promptly communicate significant intraoperative changes or events.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and interpretability of monitoring data.
- Support the use of surgical robotic systems and other advanced medical technologies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper archiving of monitoring data and documentation.
- Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Travel to hospitals or healthcare facilities when required.
