Synergic Evolution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist (Neurophysiologist) to provide clinical and technical expertise for intraoperative neuro monitoring in Malaysia. You will support spine and neurosurgery cases, train staff, and promote adoption of neuro monitoring technologies across hospitals.

The role requires hands-on operation of IONM systems with strong knowledge of SSEP, MEP, EMG, EEG, BAEP, and related modalities, plus excellent communication with surgeons, nurses,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in intraoperative neuro monitoring (IONM).
• Experience attending spine surgery and neurosurgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend and support spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, and other neuro monitoring cases.
• Perform setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of IONM systems.
• Monitor neurophysiological signals during surgery and communicate findings to the surgical team.
• Ensure accurate case documentation and reporting.
• Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations for hospitals and surgeons.
• Provide training to surgeons, operating theatre staff, nurses, and biomedical personnel.
• Organize workshops and hands-on training sessions.
• Develop clinical protocols and user guides.
• Build relationships with neurosurgeons and hospital stakeholders.
• Support sales activities through clinical expertise and product presentations.

CLINICAL APPLICATION SPECIALIST (NEUROPHYSIOLOGIST)

The Clinical Application Specialist will provide clinical and technical expertise for Intraoperative Neuro Monitoring (IONM) cases, support surgeons during spine and neurosurgical procedures, conduct user training, and drive the adoption of neuro monitoring technologies across hospitals in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and support spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, and other neuro monitoring cases.
• Perform setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of IONM systems.
• Monitor neurophysiological signals during surgery and provide timely communication to the surgical team according to established protocols.
• Ensure accurate case documentation and reporting.
• Conduct product demonstrations and evaluations for hospitals and surgeons.
• Provide training and education to surgeons, operating theatre staff, nurses, and biomedical personnel.
• Organize workshops, cadaveric programs, and hands-on training sessions.
• Develop clinical protocols and user guides.
• Build strong relationships with neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, neurologists, anesthetists, and hospital stakeholders.
• Support sales activities through clinical expertise and product presentations.

About you

• Proven experience in Intraoperative Neuro Monitoring (IONM).
• Highly knowledgeable and experienced in attending spine surgery and neurosurgical procedures.
• Strong understanding of neurophysiological monitoring modalities including SSEP, MEP, EMG, EEG, BAEP, and related technologies.
• Comfortable working within operating theatre environments.
• Degree in Neurophysiology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Neuroscience, or related healthcare disciplines.
• Experience as an IONM Specialist, Clinical Specialist, Neurophysiology Technologist, Application Specialist, OT Nurse, or equivalent role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driving license and willing to travel nationwide.
