Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Clinic Assistant/Nurse to join our Negeri Sembilan clinic. You will register patients, identify their payment basis, verify documents, record vitals, and assist the medical officer during procedures.

You should have at least SPM/STPM/Diploma in Nursing, APC is a plus, and at least 1 year of experience. Proficiency with AVIXO or similar data entry systems, empathy, and good multitasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid APC license is an advantage.
• At least 1 year experience as Clinic Assistant/Nurse will add advantage.
• Able to use AVIXO system to key in data.
• Empathy with patient
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Compassionate with good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Register patients/visitors and verify identity.
• Identify patient status (cash or panel).
• Submit documents to panel for a claim.
• Record patient body temperature and blood pressure in the system.
• Monitor inventories and medications.
• Provide patient medications, medical leave, and receipts.
• Assist the medical officer in procedures.
• Close accounts at end of shift and manage cash flow.
• Remind patients of medicine dosage as advised by doctor.
• Disinfect the clinic per SOP.
• Assist with Swab tests and other procedures.
• Engage patients with health information via social media.
