Associate / Senior Associate – Client Services (Malaysia)

As a Client Services Associate, you’ll support the delivery of fund administration services for alternative investment funds, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure a high standard of service, accuracy, and responsiveness.

About This Role

As an Associate / Senior Associate – Client Services, you will support the delivery of fund administration and client servicing activities across a portfolio of alternative investment funds. You will act as a key point of contact for client queries, coordinate with internal operations and support teams, and help ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and timelines.

At Senior Associate level, the role includes increased ownership of client relationships, coordination of deliverables, and support for service quality and team development.

Reporting to: Account Manager (or equivalent)

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Client Servicing & Relationship Support

• Provide day-to-day support for client queries and ad hoc requests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and communicate requirements clearly to internal teams.
• Monitor and manage client SLAs and operational deliverables.

Fund Administration & Operational Support

• Support fund accounting activities, including preparation of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations across various frequencies.
• Initiate and support wire transfers related to fund expenses and capital activities.
• Coordinate with auditors, service providers, and internal teams on audits, financial statements, and periodic reporting.

Internal Coordination & Investor Support

• Promote effective internal communication across operations and support teams.
• Support investor onboarding activities, including collection of KYC documentation and AML/KYC screening.
• Ensure onboarding and servicing procedures comply with internal AML and regulatory frameworks.

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
• 1–3 years’ experience in fund accounting or fund administration preferred.
• Strong ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a team-oriented and proactive mindset.
