Job summary

CTC Development Malaysia is seeking a Clerk of Work (C-S, M-E, Architectural) for its property development projects in Johor Bahru. You will supervise daily construction works, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities include inspections, quality control, reporting progress, and supporting the Project Manager to resolve discrepancies, ensuring project delivery aligns with design intent and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervising building works.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, monitor, coordinate and control all daily construction works and adhere to document control procedure.
• Ensure that all works executed are in accordance with drawings, specifications, construction plans and procedures.
• Execute inspections and tests as per inspection and to utilize quality control mechanisms as provided for by quality management system.
• Represents the company to liaise with contractors, consultants and architects.
• To ensure contractors are follow the required quality standard, construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and update daily report, verify progress report and attending to site meeting.
• Check construction drawings and specifications. Report to Project Manager if any discrepancy is found.
