Job summary

System Care Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Cleaner on a contract basis to maintain high standards of cleanliness across client premises. You will perform routine cleaning tasks in a fast-paced facilities environment.

The role requires reliability, physical fitness and the ability to work independently or with a team. Training on safety protocols and cleaning chemicals will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

System Care Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team on a contract basis. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur and is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our customer's premises. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all building occupants and visitors. This position is fundamental to our commitment to excellence in facilities management and reflects our dedication to maintaining professional standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting of designated areas

Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and maintained to the highest hygiene standards

Empty and replace waste bins and rubbish throughout the facility

Clean windows, glass surfaces and mirrors to maintain a professional appearance

Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues or equipment defects to management

Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations

Work efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks within scheduled timeframes

Respond to special cleaning requests and address spill or accident clean-ups promptly

Maintain a clean and organised storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment

Report any security concerns or unusual activities observed during cleaning duties

What we're looking for

Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Reliability and punctuality in meeting scheduled cleaning tasks
