Job summary

Marsh in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Claims Operations Executive for General Insurance (supporting Hong Kong). The role operates in a hybrid setup with at least three days per week in the office.

You will handle end-to-end claims processing within set turnaround times and interact with insurers and clients to ensure accurate settlements. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in claims processing, strong English, and the ability to read/write Chinese, plus proficient MS Office

• Good command in speaking and writing English.
• Ability to read and write in Traditional/Simplified Chinese.
• High Proficiency in using MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Registration, Processing and Adjudication of claims (General Insurance) within turnaround time.
• Assist in determination of claim liabilities, value, and service provider fees with low financial authority.
• Ensure computed claims settlements and verified reimbursements from insurers are valid.
• Diligently monitor and follow-up on unsettled claims with insurers and clients.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Prepare monthly claims statistics and update documentation processes.
• Proactively identify problems with the team or client and provide solutions.
• Participate in projects to improve efficiency and productivity of the department.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This has a hybrid working arrangement that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Claims Operations Executive - General Insurance (Supporting Hong Kong)

We will count on you to:

• Registration, Processing and Adjudication of claims (General Insurance) within turnaround time.
• Assists in the determination of claim liabilities, value, and service provider fees and sets reserves, with low financial authority, according to company and legal standards
• Ensure computed claims settlement and verified reimbursements from insurers are valid.
• Diligently monitor and follow-up on unsettled claims with insurers and/or outstanding information from clients.
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure proper execution of tasks.
• Prepare claims statistic report on a monthly basis include, updating the documentation processes.
• Proactively identify problems with the team or client and provide solutions.
• Participate in project initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity of the department.

• Bachelor's Degree in any field
• 1-3 years experience in claims processing/ claims handling are encouraged to apply
