Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification or 3-4 years similar work experience.
• Claims Insurance background is required.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize work effectively and adapt to change.
• Maintain high quality in all claims administration activities.
• Develop and implement claims management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality claims work through prompt and professional contact with customers and brokers.
• Verify, validate and analyse claims information and documents.
• Review and assess complex claims end-to-end including settlement.
• Investigate and evaluate complex claims applying technical knowledge.
• Negotiate with Claimant and Brokers on settlements.
• Maintain loss reserves and update claims data in systems.
• Prepare and send written correspondences to brokers and claimants.
• Handle enquiries; maintain relationships with customers, brokers, providers.
• Process incoming/outgoing queries from customers and brokers.
• Apply claims policies including fraud, salvage, recovery and cost containment.
