Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, BEM registration as Inspector of Works, 2–5 years of site supervision experience, and strong communication to coordinate with contractors and project personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as an Inspector of Works.
• 2–5 years of relevant site experience in supervision of building works.
• Good knowledge of construction practices, approved drawings and relevant standards.
• Able to work independently and maintain responsibility on site.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time supervision at the construction site.
• Monitor and inspect contractors' works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and standards.
• Carry out inspections and coordinate testing activities as required.
• Monitor and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
• Identify and report defects, non-compliance or workmanship issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and project personnel on site matters.
• Monitor the progress and quality of civil and structural works.
• Ensure construction works are executed safely and in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain site inspection and quality control records.
