Qualifications

• Diploma holders in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered with BEM as Inspector-of-Works.
• 2 to 30 years site experience in supervision of bridges/road works.
• Familiar with construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to monitor site quality, workmanship and safety compliance.
• Good communication and coordination with contractors and consultants.
• Proficient in preparing site reports, inspection records, and daily site diaries.
• Possess valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor bridge and road construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Record daily site activities, progress, and non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with contractors on rectification and corrective works.
• Assist Resident Engineer / Supervision Engineer in site inspections and reporting.
• Ensure safety practices and traffic management measures are properly implemented on site.
