Job summary

Colform Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Civil Project Engineer/Manager to plan, manage and coordinate construction projects from commencement to completion. You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

You will review drawings, method statements and submissions, conduct site inspections, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to keep projects on track. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in civil engineering, construction or project management.
• Experience in building construction, infrastructure or related construction works is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Develop and monitor project scopes, work programmes, schedules, specifications, budgets and resource requirements.
• Review and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, method statements, material and contractor submissions.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, materials and quality, and identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Participate in project meetings and follow up on outstanding actions and project matters.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, internal teams and relevant authorities to ensure timely project execution.
• Prepare and maintain site inspection records, progress reports and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and applicable safety, quality and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
