China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (Project Site Operations) in Klang, Selangor invites a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to oversee earthworks, ground improvement, slope stabilization, and subgrade preparation for rail track foundations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with 1–2 years of experience in earthworks or highway/railway projects, and can work on-site with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related technical certificate.
1–2 years of experience in earthworks, roadbed construction, highway construction, or railway subgrade works.
Knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical testing protocols; standard earthwork machinery operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee structural earthworks, ground improvement, slope stabilization, and subgrade/roadbed preparation for rail track foundation.
Supervise site excavation, backfilling, compaction testing, and soil stabilization processes.
Monitor settlement levels and coordinate with surveying and lab teams for soil compaction and material compliance.
Resolve on-site technical difficulties related to drainage, soil conditions, and foundation stability.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
