Job summary

Elsa Talent seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer for challenging roles in onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities. The candidate will lead civil and structural design activities, ensure compliance with project standards, and coordinate with other disciplines to integrate design deliverables.

The role requires a recognised engineering degree and PE registration (BEM or equivalent), with minimum 5 years in oil and gas and at least 3 years in a similar position.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Civil/Structural or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of oil and gas experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent.
• Experience in offshore topside facilities design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Perform detailed civil and structural engineering design for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, design specifications, and process safety reports as required.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of design activities.
• Provide technical support and resolve civil and structural engineering issues throughout project execution.

Job description

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 3 years in a similar position.
• Must be a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or an equivalent internationally recognised professional engineering institution.
• Experience in engineering and design of offshore topside facilities is required.
