Job summary

ELSA is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer for a 12-month contract to lead and coordinate civil/structural activities for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities in Miri / Bintulu. The role requires a recognised degree, 5+ years in oil & gas, and Professional Engineer (BEM) registration.

The candidate will perform detailed design, calculations, and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with industry codes and project standards.

Qualifications

Recognised degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
Minimum 5 years relevant oil & gas experience, including 3+ years in a similar role.
Professional Engineer registered with BEM or equivalent.
Experience in offshore topside facilities design is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities to meet project requirements, specifications and standards.
Perform detailed civil and structural design for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.
Prepare and review engineering calculations, design specifications, and process safety reports as required.
Ensure all deliverables comply with codes, standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with other disciplines for effective design integration.
Provide technical support and resolve civil/structural issues throughout project execution.
