Job summary

CRBC KUCHING ART BLUELINE 2 is seeking a Chinese-speaking Translator & Dispatcher to facilitate daily translation between Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia and to coordinate driver deployments for project needs. The role involves supporting Chinese management in communication with site personnel and local staff.

You will arrange driver tasks, monitor attendance and vehicle deployment, and handle ad-hoc dispatch arrangements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) with strong translation skills.
• Able to communicate in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia for work.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible for after-hours dispatch needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily spoken and written translation between Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Assist Chinese management in communicating with local employees, drivers, and site personnel.
• Arrange and dispatch local drivers for daily work assignments and driving tasks.
• Coordinate work arrangements between drivers, vehicles, and project sites.

Chinese-Speaking Translator & Dispatcher

This role involves providing daily spoken and written translation between Mandarin (Chinese), English, and/or Bahasa Malaysia, while assisting Chinese management in communicating with local employees, drivers, and site personnel. You will coordinate driver assignments, vehicle deployment, and work schedules according to project requirements.

Key responsibilities

Provide daily spoken and written translation between Mandarin (Chinese), English, and/or Bahasa Malaysia

Assist Chinese management in communicating with local employees, drivers, and site personnel

Arrange and dispatch local drivers for their daily work assignments and driving tasks

Arrange drivers, vehicles, and working schedules according to project requirements

Coordinate with site management regarding driver assignments and ad-hoc dispatch arrangements

Monitor drivers' attendance, vehicle deployment, and completion of assigned tasks

Handle issues faced by drivers during work and report them to the relevant person in charge

Coordinate work arrangements between drivers, vehicles, and project sites

Perform other translation, administrative, and coordination duties assigned by management

About you

Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) with good communication and translation skills

Able to communicate in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia for work purposes

Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills

Willing and able to work overtime when required by the project

Flexible to support urgent driver arrangements, dispatching, and coordination outside normal working hours when necessary
