Zohorecruit presents an opportunity for a seasoned Chief Technical Officer to lead the development of public transport infrastructure in a major transportation group. The role focuses on managing CAPEX projects, asset acquisition, and the execution of rail and bus initiatives to support operations readiness.

Key requirements include aBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering, and at least 20 years of relevant experience with 15 years in public transport

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of working experience in engineering or related fields.
• 15+ years with deep technical knowledge on public transport operations.
• Experience presenting and reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Current position level at Head of Department (HOD) or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience of engineers across multiple levels.
• Preference for candidates from GLC/GOC/MNC backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Spearhead development of public transport infrastructure and CAPEX projects.
• Oversee rail and bus project execution, asset acquisition, and asset enhancement.
• Plan budgets, cashflows and financing for new projects, considering regulations.
• Identify, mitigate and manage project risks with authorities and external parties.
• Introduce new engineering methods and technologies in project management.
• Support rail and bus operations in emergencies requiring capital expenditure.
