Talent Recruit is representing a well-established manufacturing group seeking a Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to drive growth from either Melaka or Kuala Lumpur. The role oversees a ~12-person sales team and will travel between KL and Melaka for product familiarization, with regional exposure in Southeast Asia.

The CSO will lead sales strategy, key account management, export growth, and tender negotiations, reporting to the CEO/board.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA is an advantage.
• Over 10 years sales leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior management.
• Proven record in achieving sales growth locally and internationally.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cable industry standards and tender processes.

Responsabilidades

• Formulate comprehensive sales strategies, market development plans, and annual sales targets aligned with the Group's overall objectives.
• Lead and manage a sales team of ~10+ members, including Sales Managers, Product Managers, and Executives.
• Expand domestic market share and explore new market segments, with focus on nationwide sales.
• Personally handle major client relationships to secure long-term partnerships.
• Develop export strategies and international market growth plans.
• Lead pricing strategy, tender preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Drive digital transformation of the sales function with CRM/ERP integration and analytics.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, procurement, finance, and legal teams.
• Oversee accounts receivable, credit policies, and collections.
• Provide product development feedback to R&D and product teams.
