We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Chief Executive Officer to lead our Group’s growth in the recycling and industrial processing sector.
With our listing targeted for December 2026, the incoming CEO is expected to lead the Group as a public-listed organisation. The role requires proven leadership capability, practical experience within a listed-company structure, and the ability to attract investors and build lasting investor confidence.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Board to grow the business, strengthen operational and financial performance, uphold sound corporate governance and develop a capable, accountable management team.
Develop and execute Board-approved strategies, business plans and budgets to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.
Identify and pursue new markets, customers, strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.
Evaluate expansion opportunities against financial returns, operational capacity and business risks.
Translate strategic objectives into clear priorities, measurable targets and actionable plans.
Take overall responsibility for the Group’s business performance, including revenue, profitability, productivity and cash flow.
Lead and coordinate the management team across operations, commercial activities, finance and administration.
Improve cost efficiency, resource utilisation, product quality and operational reliability.
Monitor performance against agreed targets and implement timely corrective action.
Provide the Board with accurate reports, clear recommendations and early visibility of material issues.
Lead the Group within a public-listed company structure, with clear reporting lines, delegated authority and approval procedures.
Work closely with the Board, Board Committees, finance team, company secretary, auditors and professional advisers on governance, reporting and compliance matters.
Ensure management understands and follows applicable listing obligations, internal policies and approval processes.
Oversee the preparation of timely, accurate information for Board and committee meetings.
Ensure material developments, significant transactions and potential conflicts of interest are promptly escalated for appropriate review, disclosure and approval.
Strengthen internal controls, risk management and management procedures, and ensure audit findings are addressed.
Embed integrity, transparency and accountability throughout the Group.
Develop and execute an investor engagement strategy to attract suitable institutional and strategic investors.
Build and maintain relationships with shareholders, prospective investors, analysts, investment banks and financial institutions.
Communicate the Group’s business model, financial performance, growth strategy and investment proposition clearly and credibly.
Identify funding requirements and lead capital-raising initiatives in collaboration with the Board, finance team and professional advisers.
Lead management’s participation in investor presentations, funding negotiations and due diligence.
Ensure investor communications are accurate, consistent and aligned with applicable disclosure requirements.
Build investor confidence through sound governance, transparent communication and delivery against business objectives.
Set clear responsibilities and performance expectations for senior management and hold the team accountable for results.
Develop leadership capabilities, strengthen succession planning and build a collaborative, performance-driven culture.
Maintain productive relationships with customers, suppliers, regulators and other key stakeholders.
Oversee environmental compliance and workplace health and safety across the Group’s operations.
Represent the Group professionally in investor, business and industry engagements.
Proven senior leadership experience in a public-listed company, with direct responsibility for business performance and team management.
Experience as a CEO, Managing Director, COO, General Manager, business unit head or equivalent senior executive.
Practical understanding of listed-company structures, Board and committee processes, management reporting, delegated authority and corporate governance.
Working knowledge of Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and the governance, disclosure and approval processes relevant to a Malaysian listed company.
A demonstrated ability to attract investors, manage investor relationships and contribute meaningfully to successful fundraising or investment transactions.
Strong commercial and financial judgement, including an understanding of profit-and-loss management, cash flow, capital structure and investment evaluation.
A proven record of delivering measurable improvements in growth, profitability or operational performance.
Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
A hands-on approach, strong initiative and the ability to make sound decisions and follow through on execution.
High integrity, resilience and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
A degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related discipline.
Leadership experience in a Bursa Malaysia-listed company, particularly on the ACE Market.
Experience in manufacturing, recycling, industrial processing, chemicals, energy or a related sector.
Experience strengthening management systems, governance and internal controls following a company’s listing.
Exposure to acquisitions, corporate restructuring and other corporate exercises.
An established network of institutional investors, strategic investors, financial institutions and capital-market advisers.
Experience managing multiple business entities or operating divisions.
