Job description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for leading and driving the overall strategic direction, business growth, operational excellence, and financial performance of a Software Solution Company. The CEO will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, including business development, technology solutions, project delivery, customer relationships, financial management, and talent development.

The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to establish long-term corporate objectives, identify business opportunities, and position the Company as a trusted technology solutions provider in Malaysia and the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company's vision, mission, and strategic growth plans.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure the company remains innovative and competitive.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

• Drive revenue generation and profitability through strategic sales and business development activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
• Explore opportunities in IT infrastructure, software solutions, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud services, system integration, AI, IoT, and other technology-related businesses.
• Lead contract negotiations and oversee major commercial agreements.

Operational Management

• Ensure efficient and effective operations across all business units.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve organizational objectives.
• Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, timelines, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Implement best practices in operational governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum 10-15 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the technology, ICT, system integration, software, managed services, telecommunications, or digital solutions industry.
• Proven track record in business growth, profit and loss (P&L) management, and organizational leadership.
• Experience working with public-listed companies or corporate governance structures is an advantage.
